Catching problems early is the best treatment
Most dental problems progress without pain: a small cavity, wear from bruxism or gum inflammation rarely cause symptoms at first. That’s why regular check-ups are the simplest, most comfortable and most affordable way to look after your mouth.
At every visit we check your teeth, gums, bite and jaw joint, and compare them with your previous check-ups. If we find something, we show you with photos and X-rays and talk through the options before deciding on any treatment.

Frequently asked questions
What patients ask us most
How often should I have a check-up?
For most people, every 6 months. If you have gum disease, bruxism or many restorations, we may recommend more frequent visits.
Does a dental cleaning damage enamel?
No. A cleaning removes plaque and tartar with instruments designed not to harm enamel. You may feel some temporary sensitivity for a few hours afterwards.
What is bruxism and how is it treated?
It’s the habit of clenching or grinding your teeth, often while you sleep. It wears teeth down and can cause muscle or jaw joint pain. We mainly treat it with a custom-made night guard.
Are digital X-rays safe?
Yes. They use a considerably lower radiation dose than conventional X-rays, and we only take them when they add information to your diagnosis.
