What they are and when they make sense
Veneers are thin shells bonded to the visible surface of teeth to change their color, shape or size. They’re one of the most effective ways to transform a smile, but they aren’t the answer for every case.
Before recommending them we assess the health of your teeth and gums, your bite, and whether a more conservative option exists. When they’re the best choice, we design them digitally so the result looks natural and proportionate to your face.
Comparison
Porcelain or composite: which is right for you?
Porcelain Veneers
Maximum durability (15+ years) and optical naturalness. Ideal for full smile transformations.
Composite Veneers
A conservative, more affordable alternative, achievable in a single session. Ideal for targeted corrections.

Frequently asked questions
What patients ask us most
How long do dental veneers last?
Porcelain veneers can last more than 15 years with proper care. Composite veneers usually last between 5 and 7 years.
Do my teeth need to be reduced?
It depends on the case. Composite veneers often need no reduction, and for porcelain we aim for minimal preparation, limited to the enamel whenever possible.
Is the procedure painful?
It’s done with local anesthesia when needed and is generally well tolerated, with minimal discomfort afterwards.
How many sessions are needed?
Composite veneers can be completed in one session. Porcelain veneers usually take 2 to 3 sessions, including digital design and lab fabrication.
Can veneers be whitened?
No: they keep the color they were made in. If you want to lighten your natural teeth, it’s best to whiten first so we can match the veneers to that shade.
